Serious Safety Concerns about 5G Wireless Deployment in Australia and New Zealand.

May 5, 2021

Scientists Bandara, Priyanka & Mccredden, Julie & May, Murray & Leach, Victor had an article published in the Journal and Newsletter of the Australasian Radiation Protection Society in May 2020 outlining their concerns as to the safety of 5G. This paper addresses the scientific evidence of biological/health impacts of microwave range radiofrequency radiation and the lack of safety testing for 5G wireless technology.

In it they state that planetary electromagnetic radiation pollution is already excessive impacting on the health and wellbeing of life on earth. They are extremely concerned about the lack of independent research to assess the safety, or otherwise, of 5G and that it is being deployed without adequate safety testing. They also note that there is strong media censorship covering up these scientifically valid concerns over 5G.

Of particular concern with 5G:

  • 5G carrier waves are higher frequency microwaves in the mm range hitherto used in limited applications such as radar and non-lethal weapons.
  • Extremely complex modulation patterns involving numerous frequencies form novel exposures.
  • Bema formation characteristics can produce hot spots of high unknown intensities.
  • A vast number of antenna array will add millions of microwave transmitters and thereby greatly increase human exposure.

This massive leap in human exposure to RF-EMR from 5G is occuring in a setting where the scientific evidence from radio frequencies used so far (for 1G-4G) overwhelmingly indicates biological interference indicating the need to reduce exposure.
