The rollout of 5G without adequate studies done, has been described as irresponsible , ignoring the
advice from independent scientists worldwide who have been “screaming from the tree tops” With
much evidence of Conflicts of interest there has been no attempt to decommission or put “on hold” the
deployment of the towers until a thorough Health and Safety study has been completed . The New
Zealand Government initiated the Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) initiative in 2009 with the rollout
commencing in 2010.

STANZ is a not-for-profit organisation which relies on the good will of its members to run its operations. The only source of funding it currently receives are from donations from members and the public.

STANZ has an elected Coordinating Committee that meets regularly to organise the affairs and activities of the society.
