A New Type Of Dementia Plagues America

A major health epidemic, digital dementia occurs when one part of the brain is overstimulated and another part of the brain is understimulated. When we mindlessly use digital devices, the frontal lobe, which is responsible for higher-level executive functions, gets little, if any, use. Meanwhile, the occipital lobe, the visual processor located at the back of the brain, gets bombarded with sensory input. Slouched over and spaced out, people, both young and old, are abusing their brains, day in and day out

The International Declaration on the Human Rights of Children in the Digital Age

Effects of Unregulated Digitalization on Health and Democracy – A Call for Using Technology with Discernment

We are contemporary witnesses to the accelerated implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution with central stakeholders aiming at the digital transformation of all areas of life and production. The digital transformation is an ideology and a hype. It is also a vehicle for total surveillance and control if not restricted and regulated pro-perly. It is essential to pause and to analyze the Fourth Industrial Revolution in a rational way.

The European Union assessments of radiofrequency radiation health risks – another hard nut to crack (Review)

In 2017 an article was published on the unwillingness of the WHO to acknowledge the health effects associated with the use of wireless phones. It was thus stated that the WHO is ‘A Hard Nut to Crack’. Since then, there has been no progress, and history seems to be repeating in that the European Union (EU) is following in the blind man’s footsteps created by the WHO.

Stare Into The Lights My Pretties

This era is unprecedented, and perhaps never before has technology been so prolific and shaped our lives so intimately. But there’s a dark side we don’t talk about. Why is that? Is it because we’re too busy being glued to the screen? Why do we shy away from questions about our collective addiction? What’s lurking under the surface?

It’s not complicated. The FDA is violating its own law.

Back in 1968, Congress passed Public Law 90-602, “An Act to Amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for the protection of the public health from radiation emissions from electronic products.” In its Declaration of Purpose, Congress wrote, “The Congress hereby declares that the public health and safety must be protected from the dangers of electronic product radiation.”

New Study Shows Health Damage from Cell Phone Towers

The mobile industry relies on the claims that the radiation from the mobile masts’ base stations is so weak that it is impossible to have any health effects. The research shows something else. Here you get a German review of a new laboratory study that demonstrates biological effects that have been measured in detail. The new study shows that even fairly weak radiation from mobile masts creates oxidative stress. This study comes on top of others that have shown that health problems increase in frequency the closer people live to the masts.

Dumbphone Sales Are Soaring As People Revolt Against “Overwhelming” Smartphones

According to the BBC, dumbphones are enjoying a revival. Google searches for them jumped by 89% between 2018 and 2021, according to a report by software firm SEMrush. And while sales figures are hard to come by, one report said that global purchases of dumbphones were due to hit one billion units last year, up from 400 million in 2019. This compares to worldwide sales of 1.4 billion smart phones last year, following a 12.5% decline in 2020.

IS TECHNOLOGY DESTROYING OUR CAPACITY TO THINK CLEARLY?

What has been missed until recently is the fact that the rate of increase in cell phone usage mirrors the growth in incidence of mental illness especially among the young. For example, the diagnosis of bipolar disorder among children and teens up to age 19 years has increased dramatically since the early 90’s.

‘What’s wrong with Australia’s radiation standard? Australian physicist explains’

Why does Australia’s radiation standard allow the Australian public to be exposed to much more wireless radiation than the Russian standard does? Why doesn’t our radiation standard give us adequate protection against 5G radiation? Lyn McLean talks to Australian physicist Vic Leach who explains the limitations of Australian and international standards and what we need to know about 5G radiation.

More research needed on cell tower impacts

There needs to be independent, well-funded research on the effects of non-ionizing radiation on human and other life forms. The parallels with the tobacco industry are thought-provoking.

Is the WHO impaired by electro-smog?

demonstrates arrogance and incompetence. The potential harmful effects of radiation from mobile networks cannot be reduced by engineers to frequency and average intensity. To evaluate and mitigate EMR exposure’s impacts to health and wildlife, we need comprehensive scientific study with due diligence, humility and caution.

5G’s Environmental Paradox in the Hyperconnected Era

The industry claims that 5G will pave broadband highways for our ever-increasing data traffic at faster speed. It claims that 5G will reduce carbon emissions. Are these claims true? Before we deploy 5G, don’t we need to evaluate its environmental footprint and sustainability with due diligence?

Scientists warn about dangers from hasty 5G rollout

Despite medical warnings from scientists and physicians about radiofrequency (RF) radiation danger from cellular technology, telecommunications companies have been launching satellites and erecting cell towers worldwide on an expeditious schedule.

6G – Closer than you think

All over the world, scientists, governments, corporations and consumers are collaborating to turn the Earth into a giant computer, fulfilling the warning predictions of the great Swedish physicist and Nobel laureate Hannes Alfvén. Written under the pen name Olof Johannesson, his 1966 science fiction novel Sagan om den stora datamaskinen (The Tale of the Great Computer) predicted smart phones, the internet, fitbits, artificial intelligence, chip implants enabling direct human-to-computer communication, the colonization of Mars, and ultimately the replacement of humankind entirely by computers, which regarded human beings as just one step on the evolutionary path to themselves.

The science of spin: targeted strategies to manufacture doubt with detrimental effects on environmental and public health

The telecommunications industry has adopted strategies used by other industries that market products which pollute the environment and harm the health of humans and other species. The Telecom industry utilize all 28 of the unique tactics discussed in this paper to manufacture doubt about the preponderance of the peer-reviewed science which finds exposure to low-intensity wireless radiation harmful, and to justify the continued adoption of inadequate radio frequency safety limits by the WHO and most national governments.

Safe ICT Wellington Newsletter July 2021

Safe ICT Wellington Newsletter July 2021. Main Article: It was Yuri Grigoriev that founded the Russian National Committee on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (RNCNIRP).This organisation, with 38 scientists and two representatives from the Russian Ministry of Health, is responsible for setting the standards in Russia. Their standards, unlike most of other countries, take into account actual chronic exposure, and are based on measurable effects on the nervous and immune systems; not simply six minutes of thermal effects.

Smart devices/mobile phone in patients with epilepsy? A systematic review

Among school students, an association was found between reporting seizures and the hours of smart technology device use. While high-quality evidence on the safety of the use of smartphone, mobile phone/Internet, and Wi-Fi in PWE is lacking, prudent use of these technologies, including using wired hand-free sets or other exposure-reducing measures is recommended.

Nonmalignant meningioma and vestibular schwannoma incidence trends in the United States, 2004-2017

The smartphone started to become popular in the U.S. in 2007 with the first iPhone and in 2008 with Android phones. In many smartphones the cellular transmission antennas are located in the bottom of the handset so the neck, not the head, is likely to receive the greatest microwave radiation exposure among those who place the phone by their ear. Two case-control studies found an association between thyroid cancer and mobile phone use, and thyroid cancer incidence has been rapidly increasing in many countries including the U.S.

Review of the scientific evidence on the individual sensitivity to electromagnetic fields (EHS)

The opinion that there is no causality link between EHS and EMF is unproven. This opinion, expressed by the World Health Organization EMF Project, the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety and numerous governmental organizations, should be revised because the scientific research data is of insufficient quality to be used as a proof of the lack of causality.

Wireless radiation and brain tumours

Professor Christopher Portier has concluded that radiofrequency (wireless) radiation probably causes gliomas and neuroma brain tumours. In an 176-page Expert Report, written for plaintiffs in a lawsuit, Portier analysed the relevant scientific studies.

Bright Green Lies – How the Environmental Movement Lost Its Way and What We Can Do About It

Bright Green Lies exposes the hypocrisy and bankruptcy of leading environmental groups and their most prominent cheerleaders. The best-known environmentalists are not in the business of speaking truth, or even holding up rational solutions to blunt the impending ecocide, but instead indulge in a mendacious and self-serving delusion that provides comfort at the expense of reality.

Effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields on flora and fauna, part 1. Rising ambient EMF levels in the environment

Ambient background levels of EMF have risen sharply in the last four decades, creating a novel energetic exposure that previously did not exist at the Earth’s surface, lower atmospheric levels, or underwater environments. Recent decades have seen exponential increases in nearly all environments, including remote regions. There are unique signaling characteristics inherent to 5G transmission as currently designed of particular concern to non-human species. Background levels continue to rise but no one is studying cumulative effects to nonhuman species.

Dopamine, Smartphones & You: A battle for your time

“I feel tremendous guilt,” admitted Chamath Palihapitiya, former Vice President of User Growth at Facebook, to an audience of Stanford students. He was responding to a question about his involvement in exploiting consumer behavior. “The short-term, dopamine-driven feedback loops that we have created are destroying how society works,” he explained

Cellular Phone Use and Risk of Tumors: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The takeaway message from our new study is we found evidence that linked cellular phone use to increased tumor risk. Based on our meta-analysis, 1,000 or more hours of cell phone use, or about 17 minutes per day over 10 years, was associated with a statistically significant 60% increase in brain tumor risk.

Overview of the Health and Environmental Effects of 5G, 4G and Wireless Radiofrequency Radiation

This review by the Environmental Health Trust (USA) brings to your attention critical scientific and technical information justifying an immediate moratorium on 5G and wireless network densification as called for by more than 400 scientists and supported by thousands of medical doctors. Independent public health and medical experts worldwide are requesting immediate reductions in both public exposure to microwave wireless radiation and a halt to the densification of wireless infrastructure.

Reports on Increasing Energy Consumption of Wireless Systems and Digital Ecosystem

The more we use wireless electronic devices, the more energy we will consume. 5G will exponentially increase energy usage. The Small Cell Forum predicts the installed base of small cells to reach 70.2 million in 2025 and the total installed base of 5G or multimode small cells in 2025 to be 13.1 million. The lurking threat behind the promise of 5G delivering up to 1,000 times as much data as today’s networks is that 5G could also consume up to 1,000 times as much energy.

An Electromagnetic Health Crisis

Exposure to the electromagnetic field is not a new phenomenon for living beings. While living beings have always been exposed to natural electromagnetic fields, the growing sources, applications, and impact of human-made electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) on humans and the environment are creating more questions than answers.
