The NZ government is proposing changes to allow taller cell towers, bigger antennas, and stronger EMF radiation—with fewer protections for people, homes, wildlife, and local input. This supports 5G and “smart city” rollouts but increases risks to health and the environment, including impacts on birds, bees, children, and community wellbeing.
The Ministry for the Environment is asking for public feedback on these changes. Only 6 questions – but we must speak up clearly and firmly.
